FAQ

Who is this internship program for?

The program is open to someone who has a base in writing but is new to investigative and in-depth journalism, whose writes not to fill up the words but fuel their emotions to tell their stories. If you are that someone, please join us.

What are the steps to “Entering the program”?

Step 1: Applicant will be sending your CV to our official mail: hello@thespotlightmag.com or apply the openings from our official channels in LinkedIn jobs.

Step 2: Applicant shall be held in a conversation via LinkedIn or video call which allows us to know the applicant better with things like your interests, few samples of your writings, near-future goals, etcetera.

Step 3: In case of selection, Interns will be sent an official appointment Letter of Internship for the work joining.

What happens at the End of the program?

Interns will be evaluated on their performance during the program and provided with feedback at the end of the program.

Will be asked of your interest to join as a full-time work if the evaluation results your efficiency to be carried on with us.

Is the internship paid?

This internship is more about grooming yourself into storytelling and investigative writing, yet we believe your effort and time that you separate for us. We have little to give in terms for financials but yes, the internship is paid in per article basis as following:
